Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

The smell of freshly baked cookies can only be topped by the taste of freshly baked cookies.  And this recipe…well it’s the best of both!

Chocolate Chip Cookies 

 YIELD: 1 DOZEN 

 

INGREDIENTS: 

 

All Purpose Flour 242g 

Baking Soda 4g

Baking Powder 2g 

Kosher Salt 2g 

Unsalted Butter 145g 

Light Brown Sugar 145g 

Granulated Sugar 110g 

Eggs 1ea 

Vanilla Extract 3g 

Dark Chocolate Chips 282g
 

 

 

PROCEDURE 

  1. Sift flours, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together 
  1. Mix butter and sugars together until just mixed with the paddle attachment 
  1. Add and mix one egg at a time until incorporated 
  1. Add in dry ingredients and mix until just together 
  1. Mix chocolate chips in by hand 
  1. Portion on a cookie sheet 
  1. Bake at 350F for approx. 10-12 minutes 

 

(Chefs tip) Cookies cook better from cold. We make ahead and freeze. We pull what we need from the freezer and let them thaw in the refrigerator fully before we bake.
