We’re back with another Chef Take-Home special Friday, October 30-Saturday, October 31!
What’s on the menu, you ask? Chef Vanessa Miller’s Saffron + Tomato Risotto served in a bed of garlic shrimp, snap peas and pea tendrils. A side of little gem salad, crusty, herby, crunchy garlic bread and vanilla bean panna cotta with pumpkin seed brittle for dessert. Take your dinner to the next level with a custom Chef wine pairing recommendation (available upon request).
We know life is busy so we’ve done most of the work for you. All you need to do is heat, eat and drink. And, what would a meal from Metropole be without the art? Once you’ve settled in, tune in to watch: For… Freedom, 2020 by Lyndon Barrois Sr. and a special video by The Wide Awakes (info to view will be included with your take-home kit). Did you notice the new mural in our alley? 21c recently teamed up with Amplifier, For Freedoms and Wide Awakes to transform Gano Alley with one simple message in mind: KNOW WHAT YOU’RE VOTING FOR. We’ll be sending an Amplifier poster home with each order so that you can help spread the message too.
A portion of the proceeds from every meal will benefit Freestore Foodbank. A local organization aiming to create a hunger-free, healthy, and thriving local community.
Pick-up is Friday, October 30 (4-7PM) and Saturday, October 31 (3-6PM). Pre-ordering ends Thursday, October 29 at midnight.
